Marriage is not a single day task, it can be stretched out to several days. So give appropriate information about number of days and hours you want the photographer to be present.
2. Key members and Traditions:
We as a photographer love to travel a lot through out the country and capture weddings of different traditions and customs. As well as marriage is heavily crowded place. It is next to impossible for the photographer to figure out both the situation on his own. What you must do is intimate the photographer about the customs and key members before the event starts, if possible let him meet the key members of the family.
3. Private session with bride and groom together:
Well we all know the center characters of the event, the bride and the groom and it is but obvious that most of the pictures will focused on them. It is very important for them to be frank with the photographer so as to have good pictures of them. You must let the photographer have a chat with both of them together which help them to be frank through out the event. This will reduce their conscious towards the camera and there natural expression will emerge.
4. Candid angles and space:
The biggest problem with candid is it should be unnoticed by the subject and moment happens to quick but you can’t ask them to freeze to capture the moment. This actually makes our job more hectic as there always are lot of angles to capture. Don’t tell me that there is only 360 different angles. Trust me there is more then that. Give some space to the photographer. As well as sometimes he may ask gently to those to move away a bit who are ruining his candid angles.
